So, how was everyone's Christmases? Mine was fantastic! I got a Nimbus 1800! There were other presents, too, but those weren't as important.

I wasn't allowed to actually use my new broom until the next day, though, because we had family over, and my mother said that unless I let my cousins have a ride on my broom, I couldn't take it out. There's no way I'd ever run the risk of letting my cousin Irene getting a hold on my Nimbus. Last time my cousins and I played Quidditch, Irene destroyed the old broom I lent her.

But it was fun anyway. I found another way to entertain my cousins. Snowmen and snowball fights! Brianna and Darla even joined in, and they usually act like they're too grown-up to have fun.
